Tell Me, Tell Me Tuesday

The snow is receding to unveil new beauty. Or, is it?
Some unusual findings in my yard...
i need YOUR help!



The formation in the above three pictures has me puzzled. Could this be the work of mice??

Again, mice? Gosh, i don't think it would be a snake...



There was nothing here last year, before winter started. Any ideas?

Interesting! It very well could be mice. We had some mice sightings last weekend as the snow melted too, so it could be their nests are thawing out?? Maybe they were burrowing in the dirt to stay warm? Ah! I hate thinking about them...they give me the chills!!

The last one is especially unusual...

No help here for you. My first thought was old animal feces that has been covered up over time, but looking closer there is just too much in a concentrated area. And the thing on the wall looks like an old spider web.
