Kids Say the Darndest Things!

At first i cringed when i saw this on the wall with all of the other kids hearts.

She told them i buy her Timbits...?

Okay, not totally terrible.
But couldn't she have told them some other reason she loves me??

Looking over my shoulder for someone to nab my 'Mother-of-the-Year' award from me, i saw another heart...for another mom...

"I love my mom because she buys me Ice Capps!"
(as in, Iced Cappucinos)

Phew!
Timbits aren't so bad after all. LOL

Aww!! Too funny!! Everytime I go through the Timmy's drive thru, the little ones start chanting 'onuts, onuts'!! My oldest (6) always asks for a baby ice cap!! She does get one once in awhile!!

That's funny. My kid is always putting weird things on preschool art too. He said I was good at putting on my shoes for a Mother's Day project.

When I was in kindergarten I drew a picture of my grandma naked in her hen house with all the hens around her. I'm sure my parents were mortified.........

Funny thing is that I never saw my grandma naked, ever. I don't even remember seeing my parents naked, they were anti nudity....big time!

Timbits are way more acceptable then Ice Capps. I won't be getting mother of the year soon cause I am guilty of buying both. In my defense I buy the occasional Iced Capp for my 13 year old,lol.

Funny what kids notice and remember! That's really cute. My sister had a similar experience with her son. He wrote that his favorite recipe that his mom makes is frozen waffles. She pops them in the toaster! And she actually cooks!
