Today

Nine years ago today, i comforted plane loads of New Yorkers...in St. John's, Newfoundland.
I saw amazing things happen, by amazing people.
There was no better place to be during this world event--
While the event changed the world inexplicably,
i'll remember these next few weeks very fondly.

Towns tripled OVERNIGHT!
People showed up to take 3 or 4 people home to stay with them.
Arenas turned into HUGE grocery stores!

And the travellers...stranded and afraid, let us into their hearts.
Fantastic Job Newfoundland!

wow, you forget about stories like this, but they are so important! it's the part of humanity we should be remembering! Good job Newfoundland! Makes me proud to be a Canadian!
