On the third day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...

A trio of "40 Below" sauces - 

Garlic, Not-So-Hot, and Hot !

These tangy all-natural sauces are packed with flavour and are produced with pride and care in the heart of Smithers, British Columbia. I love sizzling hot and these sauces did not disappoint! (The garlic sauce was especially yummy!)

Here's what "40 Below" has to say about their sauces...

"40 Below Sauces are different from typical sauces in that we don't use any vinegar or tomatoes. Instead, we use lime juice and red pepper as our base and work from there! The Hot and the Not-So-Hot sauces are made with red peppers, lime juice, habanero peppers, apple, onion, carrot, garlic, some spices and specialness. You can taste the fresh garden in both. The Not-So-Hot showcases the big, garden flavour with a bit of bite and the Hot has an amazing heat with big flavour backing it up! The Garlic sauce is made with garlic scapes (the greens that grow from a garlic root in the garden), garlic, onion, lime juice and a bit of Canadian Maply Syrup and some sea salt.

The ingredients are sourced as close to home as we can get. Home being Smithers, British Columbia - where an abundance of apples, onions, garlic and carrots grow! The red peppers come from Southern BC and the Habaneros come from the Okanagan Region of BC. These sauces are an excellent addition to your meals in so many ways. Try them in a salad dressing, dip, a meat dish, or as burger and hot dog toppings today! Enjoy~"
