New York City - World Trade Center 9/11 Memorial Pools and Museum
DaddyO and MommyO first visited New York City in July 2001, only a few months before 9/11 and when the World Trade Center buildings stood tall.
On our family vacation this past August, when playing tourist in New York City for a few days, we saw the new World Trade Center building (1 of 7), the Memorial Pools & the Occulus.
Just being on those grounds was a little surreal to be quite honest. The birds chirped, people picnicked on the green space, while others checked out the museum and Memorial Pools. But overall (being slightly honest again, sorry not sorry), it was all kinds of eerie.
